A lack of properly flushing and storing the unit. Best recommended method is to flush acrylic materials out with water followed by Graco pump armor mixed with water adds lubricant to the leather seals. Being able to absorb that oil maintains for the whole next year a lubricity to them, causing them to not wear down near as quickly.
There's a version of this in both Graco and Titan. Doesn't make a difference which manufacturer you use. Just make sure to make a daily habit out of every day adding the oil in the top of the lower half of the pump to maintain lubricity.
There's a filter just about every pump as well as inside of the gun in the handle. Most issues with getting inconsistent pressures and not having the proper pressure It's most of the time either the filter in the gun or pump that need to be maintained daily.
We recommend for any acrylic based product to flush them out with water followed by a Graco pump Armor or a Titan LS10
If you're spraying anything oil base or anything like silicone, you'll need to flush that out with virgin mineral spirits so the water doesn't activate the oil based in it and cause it to clog up. If you're flushing with virgin mineral spirits, you can just leave that in as the lubricant.
